GT’s is a fast paced environment where speed and communication and following the chain of command are paramount. Applicants who can work through to the end of the season (end of September) will have better odds of securing a job. Be prepared to work weekends, this is the service industry, that’s the busy time. Cook / Kitchen (experience preferred)

Looking for people who are highly motivated, work well on a team or independently,  are organized with good time management skills, a positive attitude and good communication skills. Prior experience not necessary for some positions but is required for Line Cook.  Food handler’s certification is required but help will be given to acquire if necessary.

You will need to pass a menu, work manual and general kitchen knowledge test, all information of which will be provided to you. WHMIS training is provided.

Morning/Overnight Prep

Looking for people who are highly motivated, work well on a team or independently, are organized with good time management skills, a positive attitude and good communication skills. Prior experience not necessary. Food handler’s certification is recommended.

This is a part time position where shifts can start as early as 2am. Duties include: washing and prepping produce, general kitchen prep, receiving the produce order.

You will need to pass a menu, work manual and general kitchen knowledge test, all information of which will be provided to you. WHMIS training is provided.

Dishwasher / Busser

Looking for people who are highly motivated, work well on a team yet also on their own, are organized, and have good time management skills.  Prior experience not necessary.

This is an entry level position, high school students welcome, no experience necessary.

Duties would primarily be bussing tables, washing dishes, taking out garbage and portioning dips.

WHMIS training will be provided.  You will need to pass a test pertaining to our work manual and general kitchen knowledge, all information of which will be provided to you.

Security Staff (security license required)

Looking for experienced licensed full or part-time security staff to ensure as safe and secure environment for our patrons and staff. You must provide your own transportation to Port Stanley. Day and Night shift available.

Server (experience required)

Full and part-time positions available although preference will be given to those available full time, any hours.

Morning Cleaner

Looking for people who are highly motivated, work well on a team or independently who are organized and have good time management skills.

This morning job is a self-directed position where you will need to follow the steps to setting up the restaurant in a timely manner.

General duties: cleaning the washrooms, setting up the chairs, sweeping, weeding and general cleanliness of the restaurant.  Maintenance includes changing light bulbs, fixing tables and loose boards, sweeping and/or digging out sand

You will need to pass a test pertaining to our work manual. WHMIS training will be provided.
